Warning! Keep out of reach of children! Flammable! Harmful if swallowed! Toxic!

It isn’t hard to tell just how dangerous some of the everyday conventional cleaning products are. All you have to do is read the label.

Some especially toxic household cleaners include ammonia, chlorine bleach, aerosol, detergents, petroleum distillates, phthalates, and toluene. Unfortunately, nearly every conventional cleaning product contains at least one of these ingredients, and often more than one.

If we can’t ingest these products, then we likely shouldn’t be allowing them to absorb into our skin either. Toxic is toxic, regardless of how you put it. Many of these ingredients not only harm the skin, but they also give off toxic fumes that affect the person using the product and others in the area.

The most vulnerable are your little ones. Due to their size, small children and pets tend to be more vulnerable to chemical exposures.

Green cleaning is helping the environment by reducing chemical run-off through proper cleaning techniques. Green cleaning also uses non-toxic, biodegradable chemicals, thus, protects the environment from harmful chemicals. Also, green cleaning promotes using of recycled paper products and avoids using of non-recyclable containers.

Supporting green cleaning is equivalent to showing that you are protecting the natural environment. The best that we could give to the future generations is a safe and clean place to live in, right? You can do your share by being an advocate of green cleaning. It’s as easy as avoiding usage of disposable, non-recyclable containers. Help Support the Environment

Now that we’re seeing drastic climate change, toxic oceans, and contaminated water all over the world — a lot of us are really starting to think about the impact we make on the planet. Even if you don’t think you can make a difference, you can!

Conventional cleaning products contain ingredients that are toxic, hazardous, non-biodegradable, and are from non-renewable resources like petroleum, so they adversely affect the earth’s ecosystems.

It all starts by being a conscious consumer — knowing about the products you’re using, and the effect they have on a larger scale. When you choose to use green cleaning products, you are casting a vote to protect the environment.

Using green cleaning products not only benefits us, but also saves our planet. According to an expert, Sara Snow, "Changing to greener methods, helps reduce pollution to our waterways and the air and it minimizes your impact on ozone depletion and global climate change with less smog producing chemicals". Therefore, using greener products helps each person to contribute effectively in preserving resources.

I hope that I was able to enlighten you to switch to green cleaning products in the simplest way I could. I'd also like to recommend the best cleaning services in Chicago, Always Green Cleaning Services.
